The Torah School of Greater Washington (TSGW), in Silver Spring, Maryland, is seeking a Middle School Teacher for Math/Science for the 2023-2024 School Year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in education (e.g. elementary, special education, etc.).
  • 2 or more years of classroom teaching experience, in an Elementary/Middle School setting.
  • Demonstrated excellent classroom management skills

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Plan, develop, and conduct lessons for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet individual students' needs and interests.
• Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities.
• Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among the students for whom they are responsible.
• Observe and evaluate students' performance, behavior, and social development. Communicate regularly with parents, Resource staff, and Administration regarding students' progress.
